Fine Arts

Art for the Glory of God

We want our students to develop their skills in the area of fine arts. This allows them to use their talents to serve their local churches for the glory of God. We encourage all students to participate in the annual North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA) fine arts competition.

Visual Arts

At MCA, we believe art is a reflection of God’s beauty and a powerful expression of the creativity He has given us as His image-bearers (Genesis 1:26–28).

Our Elementary Art Program, offered to students in grades K5–5, helps young artists explore and develop their God-given creativity. Through imaginative projects and hands-on experiences, students enhance their fine motor skills while learning to appreciate the beauty in the world around them. They also have the opportunity to submit their work for state-level fine arts competitions.

Students in grades 6–12 can further their artistic journey through our Secondary Art Program, where they are introduced to the fundamentals of art theory and composition. As they explore various artistic styles, techniques, and mediums, students grow in both skill and confidence. Many go on to participate in state and national fine arts competitions, showcasing their talents and hard work.
