Matthews Christian Academy’s self-contained elementary classes consist of grades 1–5. All lead teachers are certified and degreed.
Curriculum
Our primary curriculum is Bob Jones University Press. This curriculum provides a solid foundation of Biblical integration and higher-level thinking skills. Teachers use a variety of current media technologies. Specific target goals and objectives are identified for each grade.
Hot Lunch
MCA offers an optional pizza lunch each Friday. This can be pre-ordered with their homeroom teacher.
Early Care & After Care Program
Early care and after care are available at an additional cost.
Activities
Students are involved in field trips, class projects, spirit week, and a wide variety of activities depending on their grade level. Students may compete in our state fine arts competitions, sign up for private music lessons, and enjoy classes such as art and physical education.
